FALCON NORTH AREA
The Falcon North MLS Area incorporates the town Falcon, Colorado and while it is off to the northwest of Schriever AFB, it's an easy commute to Schriever by back rural roads, so it's favored by many Schriever families. Best known here are the large subdivisions Woodman Hills and Meridian Ranch. Homes here are in Falcon District 49 schools.
POWERS COLORADO SPRINGS AREA
The Powers Area is convenient for commuting to Schriever AFB; it's located to the immediate north of Peterson AFB so the drive to Schriever is directly east on Highway 91. This area is well-liked for home values, schools, community, and the attractions along the rapidly growing retail corridor on Powers Boulevard. If you're planning to spend from $175,000 to $250,000 (or more) on a single-family home, and you like new or newer homes, this is definitely one of the areas you'll want to consider. Most of the Powers Area is in Falcon School District 49.
The Marksheffel Area is to the immediate northeast of Peterson AFB on the east side of Marksheffel Road. Most of the homes in this area are in Claremont Ranch, which is located just to the north of Highway 91, so it's a direct drive out Highway 91 to Schriever. There are also brand new homes in the Banning Lewis Ranch. The Marksheffel Area is in Falcon School District 49.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY AREA
The Fountain Valley Area is worth mentioning because it's an easy commute to Schriever AFB along Bradley Road. The Fountain Valley MLS area includes the towns of Fountain, Widefield and Security, Colorado. Several new home builders are active in the area, and home prices are lower than some other parts of Colorado Springs.
