Best known here are the large subdivisions Woodman Hills and Meridian Ranch. Homes here are in Falcon District 49 schools.

POWERS COLORADO SPRINGS AREA

The Powers Area is convenient for commuting to Schriever AFB; it's located to the immediate north of Peterson AFB so the drive to Schriever is directly east on Highway 91. This area is well-liked for home values, schools, community, and the attractions along the rapidly growing retail corridor on Powers Boulevard. If you're planning to spend from $175,000 to $250,000 (or more) on a single-family home, and you like new or newer homes, this is definitely one of the areas you'll want to consider. Most of the Powers Area is in Falcon School District 49.

MARKSHEFFEL AREA

The Marksheffel Area is to the immediate northeast of Peterson AFB on the east side of Marksheffel Road. There are also brand new homes in the Banning Lewis Ranch. The Marksheffel Area is in Falcon School District 49.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY AREA
